How to Test Fishing Combos

The official description mentions building combos. Use a baseline, observe, record, interrupt, and compare routine while formula, timing window, reset condition, multiplier, reward relationship, and cap remain unavailable.

Controlled routine

Observe a combo without guessing the math

  1. Step 1

    Set a baseline

Choose a fixed duration and note the visible combo state before the first catch.

  2. Step 2

    Fish normally

Keep the route and upgrades unchanged while recording visible combo changes.

  3. Step 3

    Save the result

At the end, record catches, displayed value, and the highest combo text you actually saw.

  4. Step 4

    Run an interruption test

In another session, pause or interrupt once and note whether the visible indicator changes or resets.

  5. Step 5

    Compare carefully

Use rate differences as observations. Do not turn one session into an official multiplier formula.

Record

Useful session notes

  • • Duration, catches, and displayed total value.
  • • Visible combo text at start, peak, and end.
  • • Any pause, miss, route change, or interface interruption.
  • • Upgrade categories and displayed states kept unchanged.
Do not infer

Claims this test cannot prove

  • • The official combo multiplier or rounding rule.
  • • A universal reset timer or maximum combo.
  • • That a value change was caused only by the combo.
  • • That another player's result applies to every server or version.
